How do I know how to shape my eyebrows?
August 27, 2009 // Posted in FREE MAC makeup, eyebrows | No Comments
Shaping eyebrows can be tricky, because you don’t want to tweeze too much hair. There are a few guidelines you should follow, i.e. The inner corner of your eyebrow should line up with the inner corner of your eye. The outer part of your eyebrow should line up diagonally with the tip of your nose and the outside of your eye. If you are shaping your own eyebrows it’s a good idea to use a white eyeliner to actually draw on your eyebrow, and then you can tweeze whatever is outside of the white line. For a more visual explanation, check out the tutorial below.

What is a good and simple look for school?
August 25, 2009 // Posted in FREE MAC makeup, blush, eyes, lips | No Comments
When you go to school, whether in high school or college, it looks much better, and way more professional to have a simple look. You don’t have to go “au naturel”, but use more subdued colors, and don’t pile on the makeup. If you are going out in the evening after school, you can still use your morning makeup as a base, and add more layers and colors to it. Most people who go to high school or college are still young, and youth has the advantage of still having a fresh look, so less covering up is required. Check out the video below, it is a beautiful look (granted she is already gorgeous), that also works for a range of skin tones. Enjoy!
