What is a good and simple look for school?

August 25, 2009 // Posted in FREE MAC makeup, blush, eyes, lips  |  No Comments

When you go to school, whether in high school or college, it looks much better, and way more professional to have a simple look. You don’t have to go “au naturel”, but use more subdued colors, and don’t pile on the makeup. If you are going out in the evening after school, you can still use your morning makeup as a base, and add more layers and colors to it. Most people who go to high school or college are still young, and youth has the advantage of still having a fresh look, so less covering up is required. Check out the video below, it is a beautiful look (granted she is already gorgeous), that also works for a range of skin tones. Enjoy!

Applying makeup when you wear glasses can be really tricky. First of all, it’s hard to see what you are doing, so make sure you have a good makeup mirror, preferably with a magnifying part. Secondly, how much makeup do you apply; do you have to put on heavy makeup in order for it to show through the lenses. Putting on heavy layers really won’t do the trick, but it’s rather how the makeup is applied that is important. In the tutorial below you will get some great tips on what to do, and the result is stunning.
