There are a lot of fantastic brushes out there, but if you use the wrong one it will ruin the look you are going for. The video tells you which brush to use and when to use it. I used to always buy the cheap, foamy brushes, until I realized that having the right brush is half the battle. Also, if you keep your brushes clean, they can last for years, so it really is a good investment.

Extending the liner past the way and swinging it up, creates beautiful cat eyes. Watch the video to learn about method and products. Poorly applied liquid liner is really painful to look at, but when it is applied properly, it is such an accentuating tool. The techniques are really important. I am sure there are more than one way to do this, but I do like how it’s done in the video.

How do I apply blush correctly?

Blush applied incorrectly can be very painful to look at, and even if you have the rest of your makeup beautifully done, bad blush ruins the whole look. Blush that compliments your coloring and your shape, however, is like the icing on the cake. One of my pet peeves is the blush line where it looks like a ruler was held up while applying blush. I used to skip the blush entirely, because I was so scared of that line. However, a face without blush, is like food without salt. Make sure you apply your blush!
